You Can’t Stand On A Form



By now my readers have probably surmised the majority of my constituents are of the spiritual persuasion. Which, I have found to be a blessing. Especially in the revelatory knowledge they share.

I have a very dear friend by the name of Shirley. When we talk the conversation always reverts to God’s word in some form or fashion. The other day while on the phone, she made a very profound statement, as we were discoursing the subject of faith. She said, “You can’t stand on a form.” Referring to the scripture that says “…having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away.” (2 Timothy 3:5 NKJV)

That statement stuck with me and while cooking I began thinking about how concrete is poured. They put stakes down, dig a certain depth in the soil, build the form usually for a building foundation, or sidewalk.The concrete…
