The Truth Be Told

The Truth be told

You say it’s in God that you believe,

But words and actions no one sees.

Are you so afraid you might offend,

So in your silence you let Satan win.

Or maybe your heart’s grown so cold

,And you can’t hear the truth be told?

You have no time to read His word,

Yet your days have become blurred.

Are you that afraid of what others say,

Too afraid to let anyone see you pray?

Call on Him, His love you will receive,

He will open your heart for you to see.

Whether it’s your country, church or self,

You should never put God upon a shelf.

Look around, look inside it’s time to stand

Be lead by our Savior’s nail scarred hand.

If it is in God you say you truly believe,

Then in your actions everyone will see.
