dVerse Poets – Poetics – Water, Water Everywhere

Taken in 2018 at the end of winter, the upper section of the Margaret River as it crosses a road.

Bathe

She purifies
as she runs down my body
in rivulets unprescribed
by orthodoxy
unconfined by any
but her own ancient
ways of caress
that runs deeply
through my
