It is so sad that love is always questioned . It is as if there has to be a reason or strings attached to the fact that someone confesses their undying love to you . That is what we expect from the love that comes from the world . Whenever we are told that we are loved or appreciated , it is like we immediately attempt to recall what we have done in the past 24 hours or past week that warrants a declaration of love . Almost always , we reject the love before we believe it thinking that we have to do something in order to be loved .

Israel, I, the Lord, have loved you. And yet you ask in what way have I loved you. Don’t forget that Esau was the brother of your ancestor Jacob, but I chose Jacob”
