Meatloaf ala Caswell,

Baked in a nine-by-twelve….

ground beef

three pounds is chief

ingredient, he can tell!

Cooked brown rice—two cups–

three eggs should be enough…..

soy sauce to taste

nothing to waste,

Mixed with your hands till enough!

Bake at three-fifty degrees,

An hour or two, yes please……

when the middle’s done

Try some,

You’ll have enough to freeze!

About Jonathan Caswell

Poet, author, servant of God the Heavenly father and the Lord Jesus Christ...working out his salvation with fear and trembling. - Not trusting in his own deeds, but depending totally upon the finished sacrificial work of Jesus Christ to be, by God's reckoning, a new creature, clothed in Christ's righteousness...which mortal humankind can never attain by their own weak efforts, apart from faith in Christ's work on our behalf. - College-educated, yet wise enough to see that what a man does will not be his ultimate identity nor affect how God sees him or her. - Called by God to do a very difficult thing...apart from God's grace, mercy and love the sinner (which we all--by nature--are) but hate the sin, which is only paid through Christ, God's Son, - My own God-given gift is that of being a Poet..showing that in all parts of life...God has a loving part in hard as that is to always understand or perceive...given life's realities! Come join me on my journey of discovery?.

Sure, but id dont’s not the same as reblogging. I’ll wait a couple of days, and if Reblog doesn’t come back, I’ll cut and paste with a link to you, of course. I suppose you’ve already eaten that meatloaf and don’t have a photo of it?

Please welcome Jonathan Caswell, a poet who cleverly chronicles his life in limericks. By his own admission, Jonathan is a chef in his house. He is sharing with us his easy and delicious recipe for meatloaf. However, I have his permission to combine his recipe with my own, found at and use the photo of my meatloaf, since there is no image of his. So you get two for the price of one, Beautiful People – enjoy!
