The Lightening bug

Just a look at you, my dear and my pupils dilate,
Is that so or you are just high on cocaine,
Or worst some brain’s bleeding vessel in need of ligate.

Your beautiful smile makes my heart miss a beat,
That’s a trouble; could be atrial or ventricular asystole,
Before you know it, my dear, you’ll be clad in white sheet.

I hear symphonies in your presence,
Do you by any chance have auditory hallucinations?
Get yourself checked before you also develop visual fluorescence.

A look from you and my cheeks heat up red,
My God! Malar flush! Doubtful about SLE or Frey’s,
Start on steroids or anticholinergic or you’ll be as good as dead!

Your one touch, an electrical impulse and I convulse,
My! My you are scaring me now! A bloody seizure!
Need a diazepam IV stat and need to stable your pulse.
