Day 19- My Jesus Journal – Our Justification

A Minute with Melissa

I have a sister who attended a prestigious high school in Jamaica . Her uniform was all white with a royal blue tie . I always admired how the girls at that school would sit on the ground but their uniforms managed to be immaculately white . These were students who were cognizant of what it takes to be clad in white .


Let your clothes always be white [with purity], and do not let the oil [of gladness] be lacking on your head.”

Sin stains our garments . It is like that thick gravy that accompanies your favourite piece of chicken . If left unattended in your clothes , it is unsightly . We cannot make ourselves pure , but Jesus Christ came for this reason : to remove our sins . Your dependence on Jesus Christ is the secret to keeping your clothes white…
