Say No to Anxiety

In this time of pandemic, chaos and uncertainty, we need to make a deliberate choice to say no to anxiety.

Anxiety leads to worry and worry develops into fear. And fear can paralyze us and keep us from moving forward in life.

Whenever I am tempted to feel anxious, the Holy Spirit would remind of His Word that brings light. Here are some of my favorites.

β€’ I trust the Lord with all my heart and I do not lean on my own understanding. I acknowledge him in all my ways and he makes my path straight. (Proverbs 3: 5-6)
β€’ I will not be anxious about anything but in everything, by prayer and petition, I will present my requests to God and the peace that surpasses all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7)
