COME TO THE LORED WHEN YOU ARE YOUNG AND SEE WHAT GOD CAN DO! (I DID-!)
“As for me, I will always have hope; I will praise you more and more. 15My mouth will tellof your righteous deeds,of your saving acts all day long — though I know not how to relate them all. 16I will come and proclaim your mighty acts,SovereignLord; I will proclaim your righteous deeds, yours alone. 17Since my youth, God, you have taughtme, and to this day I declare your marvelous deeds. 18Even when I am old and gray, donot forsake me, my God, till I declare your powerto the next generation, your mighty acts to all who are to come” (Psalm 71:14-18).
“As for me”: The Psalmist gives his personal testimony. He calls us to join, with him, in saying, “As for me … “.
“I will always have hope”: This is more than human optimism. It’s hope that comes to us from the Lord.
