Am I throwing my voice,*
Influencing my cat’s choice?
don’t know about that—
He is a cat—-
His own flag he will often hoist!

*throwing my voice…the ability to make it seem like one’s voice comes from a different direction. Ventriloquists use it to make dummies or puppets appear to talk. I saw it done once in college, where the guy I was sitting near made an incoming friend of his who was coming into the cafeteria suddenly twist around, apparently thinking his friend was behind him!
Yeah.wonderful expression of freedom.
