SECRET SANTA*

the wife did Secret Santa this year,

I didn’t or didn’t care……

Do not feel much right today

Frustration in in the air.

The wife joyfully singing

Snatches of Christmas lore….

I am lost in a deep dark pool

and can’t take much more!

Something’s lost,

Others don’t work….

Don’t feel much of anything

but that’s depression’s quirk.

The kind of hug he wants

No one will give….

He’ll muddle along by faith in Christ

Until it’s a joy again—to live!
