I think hubby had a T.I.A. today.

We were ready to go out, and I opened the screen door, so that hubby could wheel his walker out. Once past the passenger door, I take the walker and put it in the back of car. When I walked back around his side, only one side of his bottom, and leg were in the car. He couldn’t move the other side at all. He was weak, and couldn’t help himself.

I noticed that his words were slurred, and when he had his Clam Chowder soup a little later, it was running down his chin.

He is back to normal now, so I phoned the doctor’s office to let them know. I was a caregiver for ten years, so have witnessed dozens of T.I.A.s (mini stokes).
