Pattern Mixing: Plaid and Stripes and Polka Dots

THE WAY SHE’S ARRANGED THEM—YES! ❤

fashion with compassion

On Black Friday, I bought two plaid tops at Eclipse. I showed the lumberjack plaid (made in Canada) last month and this one is black and white with some pattern mixing. Love how it has stripes added to the sleeves, so I decided to pair it with my polka dot leggings for a super fun look! I figure with black and white, you can’t go wrong.

Besides, I’m old enough to wear what I want. My mother taught me not to mix prints and patterns. However, my daughter started mixing patterns when she was a toddler and I decided to let her make her own fashion choices. Since then, she has perfected the art of pattern mixing and I’m learning from her.

What do you say?

Yes or No
