Gettysburg Graffiti

Gettysburg Graffiti

The foul graffiti, scribbled on the wall,
Contained more truth than Mr. Lincoln’s speech.
His words were words of genius – but that’s all.
The foul graffiti scribbled on the wall,
Although the language tended to appall,
Had more integrity. Do tyrants preach?
The foul graffiti scribbled on the wall
Contained more truth than Mr. Lincoln’s speech.
