I’m With You



There was a time I loved dark kohl. I did’nt know too much about makeup and I certainly hadn’t heard of makeup remover. I washed my face with regular bath soap and water and that was my entire skincare routine. So, I’d wear jet black kajal and it would stick to my eyes for at least two whole days. I did’nt need to reapply for a good two days. By the second day, it’d begin to smudge and I’d look like a raccoon’s relative. But, that was my thing – dark, dark ebony eyes. I’d wake up and I was already all made up with smudgy black eyes. Those were the days. And Avril Lavigne’s dark eyes and her music was my thing! Ah, the path to self-love and self-discovery!
