Just Another Day

The Lightening bug

Every day is a new day, they say.

Is it though?

I am caught up in the same old routine, hospital to hostel. The two “H” making my life a living hell. Day and night mean nothing to me. I roam around like a ghost at three o’clock in wards with lights fully on and sleep throughout the day. Heck, I have mastered the art of sleeping anytime and anywhere by now. My writing is at its worst; not that it was any good but still it could be read, atleast. Scoldings are like background noise, heard but never listened to.

I wish, I were batman. A Billionaire by day and vigilante(doctor) at night. Wishful thinking you see! Billionaire? Duh! I am unpaid. Doctor? Hahaha! More like a clerk, escort; anything but a doctor!
