I am,
mouse,
scurrying,
hiding,
lest I think,
I’m too great.

I am,
eagle,
flying high,
watching,
lest I forget,
the World.

I am,
buffalo,
united,
together,
lest I forget,
my roots.

I am,
bear,
eating,
alone,
lest I lose,
my identity.

Mouse,
eagle,
bear,
buffalo,
living,
in peace.
