Living Water

Life is so hard, so I want to go

Where peaceful the waters flow.

I’ll read his word and sit and think

Then from His living water I’ll drink.

My poor soul cries out for water

Living water, Lord, give me water.

Living water, Lord, give me water.

That I may drink and thirst no more

I heard His promises long ago,

And His love I’ve come to know

Although a child angry and mean,

By His blood I was washed clean.

My poor soul cried out for water

And He gave me His living water.

Oh Lord, He gave me living water.

That I may drink and thirst no more.
