AMEN AND AMEN!
None fathomed the seemingly senseless horror behind God allowing hisown child to suffer such shocking brutality and humiliating wretchedness (which was fiercer than anyone has or will ever endure upon this earth).
No onlookers understood as Jesus willingly bled on the grueling cross the reason God, his good father, gave no protection to his dear son, and even extended Jesus’ grief by abandoningthis child.
Except via holy intervention, how could anyone absorb God’s sacred purpose, a perfected lifesaving gift to humanity through the permitting of inhumanity?
Thus, how can our limited understanding assimilate a passionate God’s preeminent purpose in tolerating wars, starvation, fires, sex trafficking, and abuse of animals, children, and all others?
Our absence and distance from God is not his abandonment of us.
