Endless dreams and boundless imaginations!

It was time for a riot when people started fleeing from Bangladesh to India. Pilu and her husband Ramesh with two of their families and lots of people from their village left their house forever and gathered at Dhaka railway station. Suddenly people started running and Pilu also did so and caught a train, they found Ramesh and his family were not on the train. Pilu’s dad searched all the compartments but couldn’t find them. Pilu started crying. They came to Kolkata and tried all the way but in vain. The telephone was rare then and they tried in the newspaper but nothing worked.

Pilu was then three months into pregnancy. Tear became her permanent companion. She stayed with her parents and brothers. There she gave birth to her son and her parents tried to get her married but she never agreed. The beautiful days of three years with Ramesh…
