MULTIPLE INTERPRETATIONS

When a youngster says, “classic”,

Depends on what they think fantastic…

The more educated

Have anticipated

Styles without plastic!

With ruffles and flourishes,

Classical style nourishes…

Feeding other styles

That borrow for smiles,

Which no one discourages.

Each blogger has a vision

Of what needs displaying revision…

Each works their goals

Fanning  coals,

Affecting blog decisions!

LOVELY JEANS SO YOUNG

Lovely jeans so young,

Flaunting their curves is fun…

They’ll flop and fly

By the age I,

Enjoy seeing jeans so young!

How is it girls learn their tush,

Can pose in provocative push…

Body pride

Appreciatively eyed,

Leaves in a comparative rush.

Oh, being young and limber,

Shivering men’s timbers…

There’ll be a time

That this was prime,

In youth’s dying embers!

OLDER FOLK FASHION

Sixty-one years of age,

Miniskirts are hardly the rage…

Fabric and patterns

Covering matters,

Loose-fitting generally sage.

The Missus would make her own,

Doing the work at home…

A sewing machine

Her kind of dream,

Making new clothes to put on!

Being somewhat stout,

She has to figure out…

Where the waist

And shoulder placed,

Confirms her beauty throughout.

Sad to see her fail,

I can’t help with detail…

Her machine sits idle–

Activities vital

She’s fearful she cannot prevail.

Catalogs give a hint

Of what twinkles her squint…

I shop there–

For things she can wear–

Though at times it costs a mint!

AGE APPROPRIATE SIGHTS

Older guys by rights

Ought to narrow their sights…

The more mature

Thrill men for sure,

And fathers less likely to knock out your lights!

SPIKED IT AGAIN!

His endocrinologist said,

Get controlled or soon be dead…*

Four-seventy-five

And he’s still alive,

But a little out of his head!

Activated payment card tonight,

For a change in insulin slight…

More concentrated

And highly rated,

To help him learn to fly right.

Management is still key,

Discouragement makes you sloppy…

Takes self-control

To fulfill this role,

It can be done honestly!

IN LOVE WITH AN IDEA?

Ideas flow in one’s head,

closer one is to bed…

Impressions made

Often are laid’

Down in a sleepy head.

Then one doesn’t sleep,

The idea tends to creep,

And transfix the mind

For a long time,

To relax one must debrief!

Many are nights

When caught by loving delights…

Memories

Where actions cease,

Wishing with all of one’s might.

Finally to let go,

Asleep in a few hours or so…

disappointed

so appointed,

To have one’s wishes told “no”.

NEAR THE END OF THE RUN!

The end is another beginning,

At least we end this one grinning…

My relief arrives

And I say “bye”,

Driving home to end the inning.

I guess he needed to roam,

Less beauty than there was, at home…

He’s older too

Abilities run through,

With less things working when done!

Beauty and conversation,

Not much of the latter this run…

No one got going

I wasn’t showing

Much need for conversation!

Met hew bloggers (to me),

I wonder who visits eventually?

Most will accept

Comments but not step (?)

Into this blog..if just to see.

Thanks to the regulars who tag along,

You are faithful companions–for how long?

When tired of me

Whole new worlds to see,

Each of us in our own ways, move along!

PROPER IRRIGATION

Procuring ice and water

To irrigate as I “oughter”…

Keep water flowing

Going and going,

For good irrigation matters!
