A SACRED AND SECURE SPACE

(An opinion in a practical religious context)

Muslims Jews and Christians  agree,

It goes against sanity…

For “LGBTQ’s”

Both bathrooms to use,

With total impunity!

Guys don’t mind looking at a girl

Think she’s a man–what a thrill…

But “girls” made like guys

A boy often lies,m

Ro get hormonal toe curls!

Men and women don’t mix,

Anatomically betwixt…

Security most times

On women’s minds,

Secure and private functions are blitzed!

We believe humans basically evil,

This POLITICAL oppression’s the devil…

Giving predators free rein

And those who complain

Are chastised for being “evil”.

An opinion post, based on religious and experiential  fact.

DE-EMPHASIZING “ASSETS”

Howbeit a man,

Explaining how best he can…

Techniques using clothes

To camouflage those,

Two parts that entice a man?

What I’ve  in fashion blogs learned,

Is that certain strategies discerned….

Are mighty effective

Distracting deceptive,

Respect in their eyes earned!

Denying men their prayers,

Dress in effective layers…

A blazer disrupts

Sight down and up,

Hiding those detail betrayers!

Mesmerizing pattern on dresses,

Sometimes OVER-STRESSES…

Shape and size

Of what man’s eyes,

Like about these dresses.

Better irregular colors,

Make observing eyes dullard…

Takes the whole dress

His attention arrest,

Focus is somewhat cluttered!

Looser blouses suggest,

Mystery that’s best…

Wear them tight

And you’ve no right

to complain about his interest!

Cardigan and ponchos in layers,

Are also good girl watcher slayers…

Not sure where

“You are” in there,

Less interesting then, for stares!

If she “goes without”

Be certain nothing pokes out…

Wear a T shirt

As a liner won’t hurt,

Or with heavier fabric, no doubt!

OPPORTUNITY KNOCKS

True gentlemen know what’s there,

but politely don’t stare…

A lower view

Is tempting, true,

Maybe the lovely doesn’t care?

These days whatever you say,

Often is taken wrong way…

Hardly yet gross

An alluring post,

Is a dressmaker’s good payday!

Gentlemen watch and learn,

Don’t let curiosity burn…

Research in private

What should be inviolate,

A woman’s respect is earned!

ONE LAST RUN…BEFORE THE BLIZZARD???

He knows what the guys go through,

He once helped run steam trains too…

One more run–

A little more fun–

Before the season is through!

For us, little Number Twelve,*

An oh-four-oh “T” to delve…

Into steam

Locomotion…the dream

Of a lifetime…where we dwelt.

That EVERETT two-six-oh,

Is a proud steamer we know….

Dimunitive survivor

With dainty drivers,

“Just one more run…before the heavy snow?”

🙂

–Jonathan Caswell

*Number Twelve, running back and forth on a siding at the Flemingville, NY , station site.  I stunk as a fireman shoveling coal…so I ran the little engine under supervision of the “old heads”(experienced railroad men).

THREE RAILS TO WONDERMENT!

A train trip around the tree,

In wonder imaginary…

Looking for sparks

From wind-up Marx,

At Christmastime under the tree!

A VISIT TO ALCO #11 IN NEW YORK STATE!

I often wanted a model

Of this one engine to throttle…

But the full size is hard

With no back yard,

Not as rich as Onassis, Aristotle!

On the MIDDLETOWN AND NEW JERSEY,

It was being rebuilt–no hurry–

On an engine house visit

They let me go in it,

To take my pictures–no worry!

I was taking color slides,

Harder to share, besides…

My pictures are locked

In a photo slide box,

Converting to the cyber world…dollars and time.

I learned of Number Eleven,

Reading a book–rail fan heaven–

The Narragansett Pier

And Bath and Hammondsport near here,

And Rail City Museum given.

Until in New York State,

Where the B & H and Rail City wait…

She went to Middletown,

New York, I was around,

But in Pennsylvania she’s running great!!!

WHY EXPOSE IT ALL?

Certain times he’ll confess

To any woman he might trust…

Certain things within his soul

He feels are a must.

Not the best way to interest

A female in  his needy quest…

Exhibitionists

Are more honest!

Almost as though the sharing

Prompted caring…

Exposing is supposing

That she’s willing to allow him in for a time.

He’ll try this with anyone

He thinks will respond…

Even rejection or a small response

Is some kind of accepted response

(Though not the one rarely received–yet hoped for!)

A cross between an mother and a lover,

An impossible cross to be…

Yet be exposed to him “without clothes”

Offering embraces free.

I don’t know anyone who would

Submit to such a scheme…

Apparently can’t get it at home,

But at least the guy can dream!
