It must take courage to pose,
In plain or fancy clothes…
The public eye
(including guys),
In essence the whole world she shows!

More for a purpose than money–
Some responses are rummy–
Courageous means
Fulfilling fond dreams,
Good reason to flatten that tummy!

Amateurs know whom they are,
Accepting themselves above par…
Not letting shape
Become like red tape,
But showing we all can star!

Strolling down the long hall.
For five espressos, that’s all…
Creamer perhaps
Preventing naps,
It hurts–that office chair fall!
–
Chocolate espresso looked weak,
No color of which to speak…
The normal stuff
Was dark brown enough,
To bring blushes to the cheek.
–
Walking back down the hall,
Carefully didn’t spill at all…
There’s medical need
For caffeine indeed,
That coffee machine doth call!

At work there’s an extra-long hallway,
Some walk it several times a day…
For coffee I go
The whole way though,
My cane helping all the way!

Espresso from the machine is weak,
Drink a “turbo shot”* I’ll hardly speak…

At least four,
Any more, I’d be up for a week!

Two turbos* in coffee iced,
At the drive-through are so nice…
“Dunkin Donuts” coffee
Is stronger (whoo-wee!),
“Turbo” taste is strong over ice!
–
Still long walks do me good,
Multiple trips when I could…
One evening, oh my!
The machine was dry,
But for hot chocolate, which would!

CRANKY WHEN SLEEPY!

His wife knew his secret
When he boiled into a rage…
She told him to take a nap
And exit later his cage!

Just laying down and quiet
Whether or not he slept…
At least he’s not snapping some more,
But letting the body rest.

When he gets up she hits him
With several chores to do…
He often leaves for work early
Ready to work all the way through!
