STRANGER THINGS…

Stranger outcomes happen,

When opportunity’s tapping,

Wanting in

And you begin

Writing ideas you’re trapping!

He’s written ’bout Christ and trains–

Weather seems worth one’s pains….

Fashion poems are new

As something to do,

And the challenge takes working brains!

I’d say it is channeling energy,

Most of which has left me….

Shapes and sizes

And stylish surmises,

Still need a bard’s entrée.

“An eye for the women.” one said,

Focusing on their clothes instead..

“Clothes make the man”

And women, and can

Leave little more to be said!

YET–a poet describes,

Details that emanate vibes…

Along a track

That likes feedback,

Both positive and wise!

TECHNOLOGY LETDOWN

TECHNOLOGY LETDOWN

When watching like ME-TV,

Please note the technology…

Things we thought grand

Were reaaly bland,

A let down that we can now see!

My “Man from U.N.C.L.E.” gun

Based on the Lugar, was fun*

Until broken

(kid’s jealousy spoken)…

The haytred of which had me stunned.

Control panels painted grey

While colored loghts blick away…

No G.P.S.

Or satellites adressed,

What was great now causes dismay.

Memories impressing

bive way to scenes disgtressing…

Okay, I’m sure

For the young immature,

And maybe for the convalescing!

SPRING FASHIONS

SPRING FASHIONS

(Assisted by the Mrs.)

In catalogs, Spring fashions,

Don’t have many passions…

The skinny have lots

Some solid some spots,

On plus sizes folks aren’t cashing.

One CAN buy a shapeless float,

Big enough to house a goat…

But as for style,

Little to smile

About or to money devote!

A few things she can brook,

Fashions from last year re-booked…

“Her coat” that I bought

Her attention caught,

In another color–she’s hooked!
