CONNIVING KITTY CATS!

The girl in the suit seems dismayed,

Her spot’s been taken away…

The tiger reclined

Is the one who “felined”

While the girl was at play!

This picture seems out of scale,

Little pussy cat’s big as a whale…

The glass is big too–

A close-up view–

Should think the woman would prevail!

Now if…it’s not her cat,

Spray bottles take care of that…!

Her lioness within

Emerges to win,

And the presumptive cat…would scat!

CATASTROPHIC CAT NAPS!

Cats and N scale don’t mix,

Our Mom cat tried to “fix”…

My N scale train yard

Her hind feet pushing hard,

Against track rails well-fixed!

Cat hairs clog up the motors,

And static captures floaters…

Attaching to trees

Down in the leas,

Four-footed cat hair coaters!!!

Cats picking/clawing the ground,

Is where broken track is found…

Trees well-squashed

When kitty’s self-washed,

Why have a cat around???

AMAZING THE CAT STAYS STILL!!!

AMAZING that cat stays still,

Hard to find any that will…

That collar and tie

It must rate hign,

Not to tear to shreds at will!

PUSSY CAT PANIC!

The trousers set to dry,

But Cat couldn’t figure out why…

Fabric gave way

As he attempted to lay,

Himself down for some shut eye!

KITTY CAT AFTER DARK!

CCTV, around eight,

Saw a kitty cat walk past the gate…

With the Main Gate closed

The kitty, I supposed,

Was hurrying to a rendezvous late!

“KEE-KEE-KEE-!”

We met “KEE-KEE-KEE”,

Came out her door to see…

Who was out there

She smelled in the air,

Inquisitive cat, naturally!

Our nice neighbor next door,

Didn’t have her dog anymore…

But kitty cat “KEE”

Is great company,

Who regularly sets out on tour.

Encouraged by her Missy,

I’ve never seen this cat “hissy”…

A cat fine-tempered

Who she has pampered,

A couple doors down from Kizzy!*

*KIzzy is another apartment cat nearby.

PREOCCUPIED LION

PREOCCUPIED LION

The lion is preoccupied,

With wanting to lay down beside…

A lioness–

He’s too old I guess,

Wreaking havoc on pride!

He keeps on trying but can’t

His ardor’s outcome advance…

Poor little cat,

His plans fell flat,

He can’t keep up with the dance!

HE DAYDREAMS…

HE DAYDREAMS…ABOUT YOU!

He’ll neer say directly

But he dreams of you…

Very introspective,

He dreams of you in blue!

Green velvet brings out your eyes,

Pencil skirts would be great….

If help is needed to find a size

He’d gladly participate.

Day dreams go only so far

Exciting although they be…

You are the height of his daydreams

Even if you he’ll never see!

IS HE SMILING AT HER?

IS HE SMILING AT HER?

Diana’s cat,–in tuxedo–poses in full flash,

Apparently happy being caught…

With her pearls around his neck worn with panache

Like a ruffled Dickey we had bought.

Pearls he had played with when Missy put on him

The doubled string at which he was surprised…

If it had been Master who had thus adorned him so,

String of pearls might have vaporized!

He was Missy’s Cat, spending whole days with her,

While Master worked keeping home fires burning…

Her little friend named “Tippie” sat on her lap and purred

We had a cat who was very discerning!

Diana found the picture–Tippie Cat’s been gone

Two or more years under sod…

Buried him on the edge of land that we used to own,

In woods where he often loved to tread.

She has “enough” pictures of this our last cat,

Health needs prevent getting another…

Reminding of his healthy years, our love and all of that–

We’re not likely to adopt another!

HOUSE CAT INDIGESTION

HOUSE CAT INDIGESTION

I see some ribbon on the hall rug

That Kizzy ‘cross the hall batted there…

He used to bat a lot out,

Underneath his door, to be fair!

I heard he had a problem

With his litter box output blocked”’

The vet. looked inside and found  those

Ribbons in his colon well-stocked!

I hope Kizzy learned his lesson,

Fewer things left in the hall”’

He is, as an older kitty,

We hope wisest of all.

Speaking of blockage,

My parent’s Toby Cat…

Got into a chunk of suet

Chewing all that fat.

Toby moaned and did not eat

For a few days or so..

.We were all overjoyed

When he went to “go”.

His vet said no operation,

Just let it all work through…

Toby Cat learned his lesson

And let the birds have some too!
