Martin Luther King Junior,

Was of a Godly humor…

In love he fought

That Christians ought

To walk by the Bible not rumor!

Willing to face,

Human kind’s racial disgrace…

Christian “saints”

Who said other “paints”

Were not of the human race!

Battled until he died

for his Lord crucified…

Hate didn’t win

when it killed him,

God’s love will never subside!

How many would lay down their life,

For Lord , for justice and wife?

He followed through

As I do too,

Who does all for the Lord gains new life!

(An opinion piece)

For all the children eaten,

For all His people beaten…

At least they’ll see

Away from life so fleeting.

Those who sit by,

Should hear the tortured cry…

Of a god and his raiders,

Hateful invaders,

Who make victims want to die!

“Progressives” who don’t care a whit,

Yawn saying “get on with it”…

So we can win

Not looking at sin,

“That doesn’t bother us one bit.”

They call themselves upright,

But that won’t wash tonight…

Jesus weeps

While a ruler keeps

His vacation schedule tight.

<3 JOANNE <3

❤    JOANNE    ❤

Putting it very succinctly,

Joanne in our eyes is distinctly…

A treasure to see

While we happily,

Visit her office meekly.

In fashion that’s the best,

In professional confidence rests…

Her cheery manner

With not a complainer,

Or any of which we’ll attest!

Blessed by her children dear,

We’re blessed by her presence here…

Those of us taken,

Loyalties unshaken

Would make our affection of her clear!

We hope this Valentine will do,

We sure do appreciate you…!

When one is kind and not harsh,

Like those evolved out of a march…

Your Creator smiles,

Walks with you for miles

Watching you refresh the parched!

Godly—like His grace–

As though you’ve seen His Face…

It is His nature:

Grace for His creatures,

If only they’ll make Him their Ace.

Kindness doesn’t come easy,

Toward hate, bigots and the sleazy…

Needs God’s help.

Impossible by yourself–

Without Him your resources are measly!

Christ paid the ultimate price,

For sin, opening Paradise…

A cup of water

Instead of slaughter

He thought particularly nice.

Lawn sprinklers on this morning,

As further rain clouds were forming…

Moisture detectors outside

Need new ones applied,

Were the lawns watered when it was storming?

Zia came to work trying

To cope with his mother dying…

Of her dying got wind,

Called me in,

While he rushed out of here flying!

I’d stayed home from service,

My foot wounds making me nervous…

Zia called–I was off–

Quickly aloft,

Performing a covering service.

Steve was here when I arrived,

Covering during my drive (?)…

He and his daughter

Showed Zia he mattered

To them and me, alive.
