HIS MERCIES ARE NEW EVERY MORNING

HIS MERCIES ARE NEW EVERY MORNING!

God’s mercies renew every morning,

Reality is now forming…

This is a new day

So push away

From yesterday’s regret and mourning!

(Philippians 3: 13-14; Lamentations 3: 22-23)

“POLITICIAN’S WEATHER”

“POLITICIANS’ WEATHER”

Perhaps it’s unkind of me

To laugh sarcastically…

Quantity of wind

From our capitol descends

Affecting weather drastically.

PRETTY WOMAN…IN A LIMERICK…OR TWO!

PRETTY WOMAN IIN A LIMERICK OR TWO!

The lady was Limerick-bred,

According to what she said…

Her limerick ditty

Was rough but gritty,

And people enjoyed what she said!

Literate women are bright,

I’ll take them any night…

If they’re a writer

Of something I’d like her,

I’d  NEVER say her work was trite!

HOWLING WINDS

HOWLING WINDS

The door opens on its own,

While around the building winds moan…,.

Not that cold,

Winter;s taking hold,

Listen to that howl and moan!

A COOLER PURCHASE

A COOLER PURCHASE

(at work)

I don’t think I’ll use the hot sauce,

My tongue might have feeling lost…

Two boiled eggs

According to “regs”

Go great in a salad tossed.

REOCCURRING HICCUPS

RECURRING HICCUPS

He has reoccurring hiccupping,

They come out  abruptly like nothing…

He’d had before,

Embarrassing more,

No really–the man isn’t bluffing!
