THOSE TINY BLACK FLIES…

THOSE TINY BLACK FLIES

Food appears and so do

These flies…

From out of nowhere they

Come by surprise;

In winter, less so, but in summer

They swarm…

Life cycles fostered by

Places warm,

Faster than rabbits, producing

Great clouds…

To get rid of them one must

Close up the chow!

DANDRUFF YELLOW

DANDRUFF YELLOW

Covering all that it can reach,

Powdery under a sycamore-beech…

Dandruff molders

No HEAD AND SHOULDERS*,

This kind of stuff can reach!

Yellow-green dust one sees,

floating on the breeze…

Tree flowers make

Pollen to partake

In vast sex parties.

Flowering trees with petals

Pay with nectar–bee vittles–

From the non-petal sifts

Great pollen drifts,

That disturb us not a little!

ATLANTIC GOOSE MANAGEMENT’S RETURN

ATLANTIC GOOSE MANAGEMENT’S RETURN

That goose proudly strutting ’round,

Didn’t think he’d be run to ground…

Management molests

All current nests,

Discouraging goslings being found.
