“BUT IT’S STARING AT ME!!!!”

Ordering succulent dishes,

Nobody warned him about fishes…

Cooked in skin

Eyes stay in,

One getting more than one wishes!

A LITTLE BOY

A LITTLE BOY

(In The Grocery Line.)

I talked to him in his carrier,

As cute as a button was he…

But when I helped his Mom find a can

His older brother sized up me.

The older brother, a young boy

Finding pepperoni a place…

Among the candy where it had been,

Turned–this oldster to face.

His Mom had bought him a toy that he showed,

Proudly from its little bag…

So much love in his little grin

As he helped Mommy carry the swag!

ALWAYS HAS TO BE ONE!!!!

THERE ALWAYS HAS TO BE ONE!!!

There’s always one–guy or gal—

But most often a guy…

Who flips a bird at policy

And one never knows why.

He’s like a little boy

Grinning ’cause he didn’t get caught…

Unless someone is there to insist,

He won’t do as he ought.

He’s often in mid-upper management,

Not high enough to be the boss…

He sneaks out when he can

And the guard suffers the loss.

A simple matter of signing out

Is always the avoided theme…

You’d think that he was forced to wash

Before eating his ice cream!!!
