WITH ARMS OPENED WIDE, by Carl Gooch

WITH ARMS OPENED WIDE

With arms opened wide

You came to save me…

Love you did not hide

But freely gave to me.

Into this world you came

For a sinner such as I…

I was filled with sin’s stain

But for my sin you died.

You came into my night

Bringing love and mercy…

You made everything right

And gave new life to me!

With arms opened wide,

You came to save me…

Lord, you didn’t hide

But freely gave to me.

There is no way I can repay

What you did for me…

For all my sins’ price you paid,

Being nailed to that tree.

WONDROUS PLACE, by Carl Gooch

Wondrous Place

I’m on a journey
I’ve been set free.
I’m on a journey
Come along with me.

I’m going to a place
Filled with God’s grace.
I will know His peace
Oh, I’ll see His face.

No more dark clouds
Will these eyes see.
And no more heartache
Will come to me.

In that wondrous place
Filled with God’s grace.
There is no more sin,
No not even a trace.

I’m on that journey
Come and go with me.
We’re on a journey
We’ve been set free.

Look to the cross
What do we see?
His arms open wide
For you and me.
In that wondrous place
Filled with God’s grace.
