PENCIL SKIRT

PENCIL SKIRT

On the tight side with a nice blouse

A pencil skirt’s worth every ounce…

Taken in

So the guys grin,

And for you will leave the house.

Slim and trim and tight,

With a good blouse you’ll be dressed right…

The eyes and “ahs”

Your way the applause

Shows you beautiful and bright.

OH REALLY??

OH REALLY??

(Modern Access Control)

Ten years on the job with bonus,

Realizing occupational onus…

You can’t socialize

‘Round here (no surprise),

It’s no good in thinking “oh, woe us!”

All beauties in/out of these doors,

Can never, never be your’s…

You are there to assist,

Not grow a “friend list”

Remember…you were told this before.

Yeah, but it hurts so,

To let all those pretty friends go…

A man ought to be

Assigned more beauty,

Then is caught…when the answer is “no”.

That’s always been a problem at the door,

Some “deer in headlights” looks are there sure…

If a gauntlet they must run

Admiring men are hung

Out to dry for being immature.

WATCH YOUR BEAUTY—-I MEAN, DUTY!

WATCH YOUR BEAUTY–I MEAN, DUTY!

At work he’s tied to his desk,

And watches a moving burlesque…

That is better when warmer

Than a neighbor’s dormer,

What more could he possibly ask?

Not that anyone is BARE,

But there’s a lot of beauty there…

Curves exciting,

Proportions inviting

As long as one is safe, they don’t care.

Just one thing wrong with this scene,

The production for which he is keen…

Favorites can’t be pictured

‘Cause a no-camera stricture

Prevents photographing–that’s mean!

Each day it begins refreshed,

This well-appreciated vision addressed…

When favorites go by

They’re in his mind’s eye,

Lovingly—-at a distance—-caressed.

IN THE DRAWER

IN THE DRAWER

Three cameras sit in the drawer,

Wondering what they are for…

Only one can flash

For a party crash…

But I don’t attend those anymore!

It’s tempting to photograph women,

But my wife might not like that as given…

So I’ll photograph trees,

Trains and honeybees

As created by my God in heaven.
