Though men like angels women,
Do women as well…?
The Bible relates that only males
Are angels as far as I can tell!

But we’ll be like the angels,
Able to travel with ease…
At the end of time ’twill be sublime
But sex will be left off—please-?

Anyway my wife found an angel,
In business suit and wings…
She put him on our Christmas tree
A joyful smile he brings.
–
I hope I was diplomatic,
I really don’t want more STUFF…!
She said she bought this angel for me–
Perched on a tree branch was enough.

Now you know the story,
Most angels portrayed are females….
It sure is a wonder the stuff one can find
In the after-Christmas sales!
