WORKS IN THE PROCESS:
1. Inspired by a certain STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION episode on tape seen today….alternate words to “The Minstrel Boy”, an Irish patriotic song…which Colm Meaney sings as the character Miles on his old Captain’s ship (you know which episode now, you TREKKIES, you!?). Original two verses written by Thomas Moore (1779-1852)…one additional verse was added by an unknown author, during the American Civil War, in which many Irish-American troops fought. Thomas Moore set the original words to The Moreen, a traditional Irish aire.**
