DESIGN CONUNDRUM

Ran into a tiny snag,

Or a way out of a paper bag…

Double track or twice -around

Both plans sound,

On either I could brag.

The old two by four feet pike,

Had a twice around I liked…

An oval outside

For long cars to ride,

As a display, it was nice.

Essentially not micros,

Normal  radius grows…

Longer train cars

Don’t overhang as far,

More space makes sense, I suppose!

But a “pizza” is a display round-and-round,

Small trains in circles are bound…

Simple-to-complex

One way to relax,

I hope I can “nail one down”!

MODERN LIFE CONUNDRUM

MODERN LIFE CONUNDRUM

(a semi-romantic view)

Commute by the light of the moon,

But don’t expect sleep til noon…

One cannot steer

One’s own life here,

So must carve out down time soon!

SUN SHOWERS???

SUN SHOWERS????

The sun came out, I thought,

But it’s raining so I’m caught…

In dichotomy

Of weather you see

A conundrum conveniently taught!

I grew up in a place with weird weather,

The second-cloudiest in the country all-together…

It rained with sunshine

Which suited just fine,

As well as a Family called “Webber”.

New York City cousins were awed,

We didn’t think a rainy picnic flawed…

They said that our “steamed”

Hot dogs were a dream,

I’m glad they were charred but thawed!

Nearing the end of rain showers,

Sunshine has remarkable powers…

To renew nice thoughts

About our lots,

Before the next rainstorm glowers.
