THAT CORNER OFFICE

I’d like a corner office

With windows all around…

To keep an eye on all my mates,

To hear those working sounds.

I’d like to have a window

Or two, looking outside…

Where I can gaze out through the haze

And see the swelling tide.

I actually have an office

In a corner with windows…

Security desks view the best,

As everybody knows!

During his rounds tonight

Someone had left on a light…

A bikini-clad

That didn’t look bad,

In a corner office in sight.

It must be an old issue,

‘Cause the salesman visits are through…

No more “free” sights

To warm winter nights,

To which some would say, Boo-Hoo!
