MARVELOUS MOVING MYRIADS

MARVELOUS MOVING MYRIADS

Flowing humanity

Passing in front of me,

Colorful waves

Of fabric faves…

Outgoing escapees!

Glad for cooler weather

Folks hell-bent-for-leather,

Going out

With glad shout…

Hiding the all-together!

Women and men both

Swear by a common oath,

They won’t return

Or the night oil burn…

Without taking time to loaf!

POLYGLOT “ALA LIMERICK”

POLYGLOT “ALA LIMERICK”

The “National Day of Prayer”,

May seventh, was yesterday’s fare…

Folks came out

With little doubt

To see if poets cared.

His blogs views set new heights,

Surprising him, dead-to-rights…

The exact reason why

Numbers shot high,

His puzzler was “puzzed” by the sight!

Copyrighted works are logged,

Defense of which is dogged…*

They’ve slapped his hand

So often the man

Worries his hand is dislodged!

(NOTE: * spelled the same as the first line–technically rhymes—but the rhythm is different:  “dog-ged”)

A man is wrong to hope

The client provides him a grope…

By God he’ll see

Business on the lee,

Straighten up and fly right you dope!

Nice pictures he doesn’t do well,

But his wording can describe a smell…

Really do you think

That he’s start a stink,

And picture the escaping, pell-mell?
