ANYONE WANT BREAD STICKS?

ANYONE WANT BREAD STICKS?

As all who work with food pantries know,

Sometimes there is overflow…

Stuff left over

Brought on over,

To whom we really don’t know!

In the morning, someone sees

A host of opportunities…

Until then—smile

Let them sit a while–

Maybe someone makes breadstick pastries?’

P.S.—This IS NOT….a complaint!

GASSY GEESE?

GASSY GEESE?

The other day, half-frozen apples

Were taken by geese as samples…

Of food yet to eat

Perhaps as a treat,

Or for regularity ample.

I imagine, living on nuts

And birdseed, hardens their “putts”…

Some nice fruit would quicken

And stop “putts” from sticking…

Good meds with no ifs ands or buts!

If some of those apples turned

To vinegar, their going down burned…

Taking care of sore throat

Got on an ice float,

Medicinal “kick” needn’t be spurned!!!!

A SUPPER SILLY

A SUPPER SILLY

Cold coffee and fruit

Is all I have to eat…

Didn’t have convenient bread,

Even less, any meat.

I’d like to order out

But I cannot spend a lot…

I remember stuff I could have brought

But this is all I’ve got.

Don’t need to pull out money,

I’m near an ATM…

Perhaps I’ll muddle through somehow

And eat at home, shift’s end!
