THE PERSON EASILY BORED

THE PERSON EASILY BORED

A person with interests untoward,

Is often easily bored…

Opportunity of feeling

Emotions revealing,

They want extra voltage on board.

Life—good but dull–

Enlivened by an exciting pull…

But interest over time

Begins to decline,

They yearn another fantasy cull.

Being caught or forced to stop,

Resentment builds toward the “cop”…

Enforcing rules

Taking away jewels,

Before lost in one more pop!

Addictive behavior indeed,

Selfishness and greed…

Deep-sited

Unrequited

Bondage that would be freed.

Made in the image of God,

Corrupted, unstable and flawed…

Enigma that sings

Collecting things,

Experiences pure and bawd.

WRAPPING IT UP

WRAPPING IT UP

He couldn’t suddenly stop,

A final bill he’s copped…

That, once paid,

Ends his foray

Into his wild oat crop.

Looking he wryly smiles

At overflowing piles…

Have to cut down

What stays around,

But that will take a while!

E-BAY WRAP-UP

E-BAY WRAP-UP

Received the final RS-1,

Perhaps waiting ine more…

Have purchased favorite body shells

A collection to endure.

I’ve yet to do the wiring

The thing I’m in most need….

Should get that done so I can run

And put away the greed!

SLEIGHT OF HAND

SLEIGHT OF HAND

(Political and economic fact)

Folks clamor that minimum wage

Be raised in level again…

The unions will have proportionally

Their entire pay scale raised then.

By contract, most union pay clauses,

Increase when the minimum does…

It’s not generally reported

Perhaps due to media flaws?

The unions who work at government pay

Have this clause and often will…

Regardless of financial state of the state

Take it from the public till.

Since borrowed money is money indeed,

No matter how much interest it cost…

The public till is the fount of greed

Until the whole nation is lost!
