BLACK FRIDAY BEGINS…!

BLACK FRIDAY BEGINS…!

Was driving home before one,

Black Friday had barely begun…

Wal-Mart’s lot seemed full

Of vehicles,

And a crowd to the entrance had clung.

Perhaps they were waiting for this,

Much-awaited shopping bliss…

With cops standing by

In the case of outcry,

Or if anything untoward was amiss!

I went on my way past one,

Black Friday by then had begun…

Folks out in the cold

Moving in when told,

It was time for their morning run.

THE PERSIAN WITH AN AVERSION

THE PERSIAN WITH AN AVERSION

A story is often told

About a cat so bold…

Ridding the house

Of every mouse

And eating them out in the cold.

There was a particular persian

Who had a special aversion…

To anything

With squeak or wing,

Found by her, her turf on.

The carnage became so great,

The cat frequently ate…

She ran aground

Whilst inbound,

And sticks in the cat door of late!
