He had some very nice dreams,
Dispensing delicious creams…
Business went bad–
He lost all he had–
So much for his innocent dreams!
–
Life gave him a bad turn,
Discouragement began its worm…
Into his soul
Filling the hole,
Blasted out when that dream burned!
–
Slowly new dreams took shape,
Other dreams he wouldn’t ape…
With work to do
His courage renewed,
Survived he, from a bad scrape!
