THE MAN AND HIS PINUPS

King Solomon collected wives,

Honey pots to place in hives,

Hundreds of queens

And concubines lean,

Enough for several lives!

Different is  the man and his blog,

He’d like lots of women to log…

Pictures in files

All bring smiles,

The perfect opportune “hog”.

When his files fill up,

His method involves a stop…

Ruthlessly

Deleting you see,

Every female picture that comes up.

Unlike Solomon’s bag

(This guy doesn’t want to brag)…

His observation:

Avoid temptation

So marriage won’t hit a snag.

Of course he enjoys at the time,

Each beauty that he finds…

Unlike the king

The righteousness thing,

He follows in life and rhyme!

(an update on Solomon!)

MIST ABOVE THE SNOW

MIST ABOVE THE SNOW

Looking through the camera

At mist above the snow,

Taking it closer to the ground…

Warmer air above it

As we all know,

Reduces snow wherever it is found.

Winter fairies weight–

If ever they may gain–

Losing inches in the warmth onslaught…

Puddles run and drip

Into rivers again,

Water cycles going as they ought.

God’s creation doing

As it was always planned,

Making sense in every little drip…

Solomon was right to be

Entranced by the thought,

Of God’s purpose in each return trip.*

UNTAMED PASSION

UNTAMED PASSION

This morning’s radio preacher

Chose King Solomon to feature…

Wise, after a fashion,

His untamed passion

Brought havoc to the famous Teacher.

He chose well when asked by God,

For wisdom to rule around his quad…

But to God’s dismay

The boy fell away,

Building a harem so broad.

And yes, he did build God’s temple,

But kept building his kingdom to resemble…

A palatial slave den,

Taxing Israel when

They’d prefer to be free, plain and simple.

His public and private worlds apart,

He learned a politician’s art…

Of being a fraud

Underneath his facade,

Not seeing his evil a la carte.

Of many books there is much vanity,

Alas, he had no John Hannity…

Or prophet to speak

For God when he was weak,

Because of him life bred much calamity!
