Dreamers barely twitch…
Lost in dreams
Writing reams
Of psychedelic kitsch.

Redheads especially too…
Artfully posed
In ecstasy’s throes?
Exceedingly pleasant to view!

Hotly passed to the other…
Reflectively disposed
After their throes,
Will she become a mother?

Bosom always in a bra
Thrusting out as willed.

Not to love and date her–
THAT would feel so weird!
Although she attracts him
His Mom, she was feared!

Th eye doctor has a jewel
Called Sarah with an “H”…
A redhead I remember from last year
Who has many positive traits!

Her folks from Lancaster county, PA,
And she lived up near Cooperstown..
She knows on the map where Binghamton is,
All places I’ve been around.

Found out that she likes poetry
and was willing to take a look…
At a blog (this one!) she just learned about
And on Thursday, she’ll receive my book.

Shifting patients with caring and grace…

MEDICAL NECESSITY
I met another redhead
For an echocardiogram…
She said her hair normally
Was darker, not the current red tam.

‘Twas pleasant, but she had her job
To do checking my heart…
Don’t know if she found what she was looking for,
It’ll probably show on my chart.

She sat rather close and I behaved,
The ultrasound probe pushed down hard…
When she finished up I toweled myself
While she looked at her next dance card.

LOOK-ALIKES
At a doctor’s office today,
He had to look away…
For sitting there
With long red hair
Was a young thing on display.

She reminded him so of
The pictures of models he loves…
This one was real,
He had to conceal
And treat her with kid gloves.

His obvious source of delight,
Had to be handled just right…
At a picture one stares
With them unaware,
But be careful…a real one may bite!

TECHNOLOGICAL MARVEL??
I am too young to know,
Or experience the mechanical peep show…
But chances were good
I’d avoid that neighborhood,
I say that so folks will know!
