Brand New

Brothers, can’t you see?

God made a brand new me.

This is a brand new day,

I walk in a brand new way.

–

While I was still in the night,

Jesus showed me His light.

He reached out His love to me,

And His mercy set me free.

–

No longer do I live in sin,

All my fears I give to Him.

He is the source of my life,

His strength conquers strife.

–

It’s easy to blow with the wind,

Becoming hard and thick-skinned.

But that is the old sinful way.

I’m brand new with a brand new way.

Loving Way

Almighty Father, creator of all,

You speak and mountains move.

I watch the sun rise and fall,

Each moment your love you prove.

–

From valleys to mountain tops,

Your wondrous beauty never stops.

From the seas to the grassy hills,

From every corner your glory fills.

–

You placed each star in heaven above,

You sent your Son with mercy and love.

You gather those who’re faithful and dear,

Strengthening them as the time draw near.

–

Your sacrifice made a covenant with me;

You bestowed mercy and set me free.

All heaven declares your righteousness,

And all who live with you are blessed.

–

Lord, God of love and mercy;

Guide me in everything I do and say.

May your word be a shield to me,

And may I live my life in your loving way.

LIVING WITNESS

By your mighty hand you lifted me,

Your power my enemies did see…

For your loving blessing in all you do

With my last breath I will praise you.

–

You alone are my God and my King,

I know you are with me in everything:

In weakness when illness seized me

I called on you and you set me free,

–

You paid the price my soul to save

And rose again, a new life you gave…

I’ll sing your praises–I’ll never quit–

You spared me from that evil pit.

–

In your mercy I rest day and night,

That I may praise you in your holy light…

Wrapped in the warmth of your grace,

I rejoice in the piece of your holy place.

–

The storms will come and winds blow

But I’ll not be shaken in what I know:

The Lord my God has shown mercy to me

And my life now will a living witness be.

WHAT HE DID

Jesus shed precious blood for man,

He paid the price of sin’s demand…

His love poured out that dark day

That we might live in a better way!

–

And though a sinner you may see,

My Lord came and set me free…

I am a man and sometimes fall

But my loving Lord forgave it all.

–

The Lord Most High, my Savior be,

He was the lamb of sacrifice for me…

He filled my heart–it overflows–

I will praise him that the world knows!

–

I remember my life filled with sin,

I was lost not knowing where to begin…

I heard him calling but run and hid,

But now I praise Him for what He did.

–

A miracle was given to me that day…

Now there is no day I do not pray!

Your precious mercy shown

Because of your love unknown…

From sin I am forever free:

Your loving face I’ll see!

My soul with joy can say

A treasure has come today…

Your promises proven true:

Everything good came from you.

Like song birds of spring,

My heart brings praises to sing…

Deep down in my soul I know

You’re with me wherever I go!

Amazed I am by your blessings
