Talking of railroad dreaming

Track work on my N scale,

Is slowly making progress

Reality prevails…

The passenger siding

May see power soon,

The freight loop is nearly done–

I sing a happy tune!

I need to find lumber

To build a train display,

Oh, the micro-layout I could build

As steam engines puff away…

I figure a figure-eight would run

My narrowest running stock!

I’d like a magnifier that

Can stand by itself,

I’ve tiny parts to apply

With less than ample wealth…

My vision’s not the greatest

But please no sympathy,

The challenge is part of

My N scale train hobby!
