Advice from an “old man”
Don’t let the crowd command…
You to produce
A poor excuse,
But pick your ground and stand!

Having “LIKES” for posts is nice,
But some posts cut a deep slice…
Or folks bored
With that kind of sword,
Won’t be caught thinking twice!

Many older posts,
Look like towns with ghosts…
Not a LIKE
Or comment strike,
So much for a poet’s boasts!

Like men of valor stand,
Only in the Lord’s command…
Be not swayed
If better paid,
And pumped up so you feel grand!

Samson did not doubt
Hearing Philistine war shout…
With jawbone of an ass
They would not pass
If he was about.
–
Hold your ground with valor,
Not frightened by worldly palor…
The Lord God fights
For you His lights,
You stand firm and love them shower!
