Greedy but holding firm,
The boy inside starts to squirm…

Cookie baked
With frosting starts to burn.

Wanting to his wife be kind…
Puts away
for today,
Out of sight is out of mind?

Supper sits cold, in vain…

Getting back control again!

Come to find out he,
Ate too lightly…
Did a protein lag
Make ardor sag ,
So he wouldn’t go quietly?

He failed that date…

Helping with chores,
His wife likes, at any rate!

Will please parents no end?

Red felt, white trim, all that…

Secures the border
Putting out the welcome mat!

Balloons red and green
Block the cafe’ camera screen…
Hence they move
Pandemonium cooled,
Making room so Santa can be seen!
