CHANGING ACOUSTICS

CHANGING ACOUSTICS ON MY ROUNDS

Since they’re changing  the upstairs floor,

I’m hearing sounds I’ve not heard before…

Blowing my nose

Produces echoes,

More metallic than ever before.

It’s not that I do  “test blows,”

But I’m frequently clearing my nose…

Sound wave concentration

Affects reverberation,

With less now to absorb or enclose.

It’s not necessarily volume,

More a change in dimensions of a room…

As more work is done

Acoustics will run,

Toward changing some more I assume!
