DID…HE…LIKE THE WAR BONNET?
–
Should find out if,
The boss will accept my gift…
Or if he’ll say
Throw it away,
Out into a convenient snow drift?
–

HIS VACATION
My boss is filled with glee,
First “get out” since two thousand-three…
A couple of days
Despite this rain haze,
A chance to finally run free!
–
Of course, when cat’s away,
The mice still want to play…
I come in early
Hale, hearty, burly,
Get relieved earlier–that’s okay!
–
The boss wanted me covering
But no one else was hov’ring…
Our skeleton crew
Has enough to do,
The boss won’t be long in recovering! 🙂 *

* Note: I don’t think the man drinks.
THE CARING BOSS
A Probe worker gave us flowers
With candy in a glass vase that towered…
On-and-off lights
To show she delights
In Security guys o’er the hours.
–
Our boss, the caring guy,
Didn’t want sugar levels sky-high…
So gave the whole thing away
The very next day,
The only thing (?) that was fair.

THERE ALWAYS HAS TO BE ONE!!!
Â
There’s always one–guy or gal—
But most often a guy…
Who flips a bird at policy
And one never knows why.
–
He’s like a little boy
Grinning ’cause he didn’t get caught…
Unless someone is there to insist,
He won’t do as he ought.
–
He’s often in mid-upper management,
Not high enough to be the boss…
He sneaks out when he can
And the guard suffers the loss.
–
A simple matter of signing out
Is always the avoided theme…
You’d think that he was forced to wash
Before eating his ice cream!!!

SEEING THE BOSS
My recent major problem
May be coming to an end…
The boss wants me in early,
To “talk”–let’s not pretend—
That often-times impatience
Has gotten me in trouble,
A lingering suspicion
He’s about to burst my bubble…
I have to wait ’til then to see what he will say,
One way or the other somebody’s gonna pay.
