HAIKU FOR LATE WINTER

HAIKU FOR LATE WINTER

Barren trees waving,

Robins mob bare ground patches…

Ceramics appear.

Gnomes at homes revel,

Warm temps are on the level…

Crocus brave the cold.

Mud season in stride,

Wood piles diminished of chord…

Strange music floats by!

Walked dogs finding ground,

Frozen tidbits uncovered…

Scooping communities!

Lawn chairs forgotten,

Last year’s laziness sees light…

Frozen hoses snarled!

Walk among fresh ponds,

Truck-ground snow leaves gritty streets…

Scooping out deep drains!
