It used to be when paid,

We’d eat out at “King Jade”…

But salt and sugar

Isn’t good for the figure,

So plans have to be relaid.

I’m lucky that life is enhanced

By following bloggers entranced…

Enough to stay

Whilst I blog away,

And well-meaning criticism chanced!

Went out into the cold,

To shake myself of mold…

Out in that wind

My enthusiasm dimmed,

The idea quickly got old!

I’ve thought of another, so-to-speak,

Another poem to sneak…

In under the wire

Before it requires

Me to shut my beak.
